RIVERSCAPES: UNSEEN UNIVERSE

With their mouths in the ocean and their fingers dug deep into the highlands, rivers are as essential as water itself. Nearly as old as earth, they have acted as life givers, nutrient distributors, and canyon shapers. We often see rivers as a resource to dam, disrupt, or dismember, forgetting that their health is intrinsic to ours. In my exploration of rivers I discovered an entirely new world, a mixture of air, gravity, water, light, and life. Through photography we can pause these ever moving spaces, and emphasize even more of their complexity and beauty in the name of conservation.
